Latest Update on Tropical Storm Fay as of 5:00pm EDT is that it continues to strengthen with winds of 65mph and the center of the storm is situated approximately 60 miles south-southwest of Melbourne and is moving slowly to the north-northeast at 8mph. If it continues on it’s current track it will pass extremely close to Port Canaveral when it reaches open water early Wednesday morning. Orlando will still feel the effects of the outer bands and is under a tornado watch but may be spared from the brunt of the storm. The weather channel just reported a tornado warning north of Palm Bay Florida so that area is not out of the woods yet but it’s looking better for Disney World at least.
