Latest Disney Hurricane Gustav and Tropical Storm Hanna Update

At this time, the Magic should be returning from it’s repositioning cruise which traversed the Panama Canal, and heading back to Port Canaveral, due in tomorrow morning. Per the latest Disney website updates, it is scheduled to go out business as normal on Sunday afternoon for it’s 5-night double-dip cruise, however based on the current trajectory of Tropical Storm Hanna, this would put the Disney Magic at Nassau the day before Hanna is supposed to cross within several miles of that vicinity. Based on this information, we believe there is a strong likelihood that the Disney Magic will still venture to Nassau on Tuesday is probable to unlikely. As updates come in, we will let you know, on our Disney Hurricane Season 2008 page, so check it out, bookmark it and check back as often as you like.
It is possible that the Disney Wonder may be impacted by this as well, we are still checking on this.
If Tropical Storm Hanna continues on it’s present course, it will cross extremely near Disney World between Sunday and Tuesday (which are the days I am scheduled to be there). If it hits prior to my flight arriving Sunday morning, look for live updates, otherwise I may cancel my trip or make other travel arrangements.
