A Disney Dozen of Fun Things To Do at Magic Kingdom
Whether this is your first time or fifth time at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, be sure to try each of these fun and unique experiences before you call it a day.
1. Take a minute sometime during the day and stroll down Main Street. There is so much to see just on Main Street and most often we are in such a hurry, we let it all go by. Read the names of the shop owners on each window, look at the face of a youngster when they see the castle for the first time, stop in the shop to see the glass blower work his art and buy one of those pastries that smells so good in the bakery.
2. Get a pineapple float at Aloha Isle and then people walk down to the squirting Tiki gods and watch the kids have fun.
3. Do the “Triple Mountain Whammy“. Ride Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Splash Mountain all in the same day.
4. Watch the Captain Jack Sparrow‘s Pirate Tutorial outside of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. (Ride the ride as well of course!)
5. Get a turkey leg…you know you want to!
6. Visit the Hall of Presidents. It may not be the most exciting attraction in the park but it is probably the most historically significant.
7. Ride the rides in Fantasyland as if you are a kid even if you’re not.
8. Visit Minnie and Mickey’s house and REALLY look at the details.
9. Have your picture taken in front of the statue of Walt and Mickey in front of Cinderella’s Castle.
10. Watch the flag ceremony that takes place in the park at the beginning of Main Street.
11. Ride the Walt Disney World Railroad to move around from one side of the park to the other.
12. See if you can beat the high score at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
13. Stay for Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. You’ll be sorry if you don’t!
