A Disney Dozen of the Best Breakfasts at Walt Disney World
They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So it’s a good idea to know where to find the best breakfasts at Walt Disney World. This list (not in any particular order) spans from the quick ‘n go breakfast to a breakfast experience you’ll soon not forget.
• Sunrise Safari (Animal Kingdom Lodge) – an amazing personal safari
• Main Street Bake Shop (Magic Kingdom) – great location and yummy bakery items
• Boatwright’s Dining Hall (Port Orleans Resort Riverside) – solid all around breakfast and great sweet potato pancakes
• Room service at your resort – some resorts even offer family size breakfasts meals including Mickey waffles
• Cape May Café (Beach Club Resort) – one of our favorite character meals
• Princess Storybook Breakfast (Norway Pavilion, Epcot) – A character meal with Princesses, Princesses, and more Princesses (the cheesy potatoes are wonderful)
• Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory (Port Orleans Resort French Quarters) – fresh made beignets
• Kona Café (Polynesian Resort – Tonga Toast and fresh pressed Kona coffee
• Whispering Canyon Café (Wilderness Lodge) – fun and interactive
• Starring Rolls Café (Disney Hollywood Studios) – quick and reasonably priced
• Boardwalk Bakery ([tag-tec]Boardwalk Inn[tag-tec]) – pastries baked onsite
• Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge) – buffet offering unique breakfast items alongside traditional fare
• Cinderella’s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom) – a Disney classic character meal but reservations are very hard to get
As you can see, your breakfast options are varied. If breakfast is indeed the most important meal for your family and you want a sit-down meal, be sure to make reservations before you leave for vacation. Otherwise, grab ‘n go and have a great time!
My family’s favorite breakfast spot at Walt Disney World has to be Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Port Orleans Riverside. Sometimes I think we stay at Port Orleans Riverside just to be close to Boatwright’s Dining Hall for breakfast!
